Mike Korson is a composer, arranger, and marching band designer dedicated to creating engaging, meaningful performances through collaborative show design, musical storytelling, and visual coordination. He works closely with directors to develop productions that reflect each ensemble's unique identity while providing memorable experiences for students and audiences.

Mike holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas Christian University and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of North Texas. He also serves on the Music Industry Studies faculty at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he teaches Recording Techniques, Digital Music Technology, and Music for Video Games and Film.

He lives in Arlington, Texas, with his wife, Hannah, and their two pugs, Chewy and Penny. Outside of music, he enjoys pickleball, board games, and spending time with family and friends.
